Since the tragic events in Las Vegas took place, CBS Radio has come together to help the victims in this time of need by providing comfort and support to our audiences in the wake of the terrible news. Several markets, including here in Phoenix have set up blood drives and charity events for the victims.
Listeners have asked where they could make a charitable donations in support of the victims of Las Vegas. The National Compassion Fund is managed by The National Center for Victims of Crime – a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Listeners can donate at nationalcompassionfund.org or text Vegas to 20222 to donate $10 to the National Compassion Fund. 100% of the funds received through the National Compassion Fund will be distributed directly to victims and their families in Las Vegas and all donations are 100% tax deductible to the full extent of the law.
